Baraque de Cohardin

The place

Open hut at 1248 m alongside a mountain stream in the Belledonne massif (Savoie). Wood stove with wood available inside, table, bench. Upstairs, sleeping on the floor. Access track on the right bank from St Hugon, driveable to Cohardin but 4x4 only. According to recent reports, reaching the hut without getting your feet wet can be tricky and the stream's flow can be strong.
