The place

Open cabin at 1500 m in the Chartreuse massif (Isère). Belongs to a private individual who visits it periodically with family or friends. Several large tables, benches and chairs. Very clean. Wood stove and water source. Isolated spot in the forest, wood in an adjoining shed to be used sparingly. Damp and cold, uninsulated, rather austere — a very lonely area.
