The place

DNT Balvasshyttene complex located at 600 m at the southern end of Lake Balvatnet, in the Skaitidalen valley (Nordland). Managed by DNT Nordland. A stage on the SUL3 trail linking Argaladhytta to Balvasshytta. Four sleeping places listed (the full "Balvasshyttene" complex includes several buildings according to some sources). Unstaffed cabin, access with a standard DNT key.
