Balagan Yubileyny (Koryto) ("Jubilee Balagan (Trough)") in Krasnodar Krai, Maykop/Guzeripl area (Caucasus National Park, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia), at 1607 m elevation, on the north slope of the western Caucasus. Continuous Russian Caucasus cluster (batches 250-380). A traditional shepherd's balagan of Belaya, its Jubilee (Yubileyny, "jubilee") likely founded in a USSR anniversary year, plus the Kavkazsky Zapovednik, Russia's oldest reserve, established 1924, UNESCO Western Caucasus listing 1999, 3,000 km², home to the last wild population of European bison (Bison bison bonasus), Kavkazsky reintroduced 1946-1990, 100 individuals, plus Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, the 22nd edition, Aibga/Rosa Khutor, plus Bolshoy Fisht, 2867 m, an iconic summit, plus the heritage of the Circassians/Adyghe people (a northwest Caucasian people, 700,000 Adyghe, Kabardian, Cherkess, speaking the Circassian language, plus the Muhajir genocide of 1864, Russian Empire, 90% of the population exiled to the Ottomans, 1.5 million victims, present-day Turkey home to a 3 million diaspora).
