The place

Traditional mountain farm (gård) managed by DNT Stavanger og omegn at 170 m on the Lysefjord, halfway along the famous fjord. 34 places in total (22 bookable): main house with 18 places in 5 rooms, annex (dog-friendly) with kennels and bunks, and a barn with hooks for 6 bookable hammocks. Wood-fired pizza oven available by reservation. 12V solar power, gas heating and wood burner. Fully self-catering (cooking, cleaning, upkeep). Access by boat to Bakken kai (30 min steep climb) or marked trails from Songesand and Preikestolen. A natural stopover between Preikestolen and Lysebotn. Activities: the SignaTUR Lysefjorden hike, berry picking, swimming, Skurvedalen nature reserve.
