Baito dei Slavazi
The place
The Baito dei Slavazi (or Slavaci) is a free bivouac at 1955 m altitude in a clearing at the edge of the forest, above the Val Sadole (Val di Fiemme), on the north side of the Lagorai range (Trentino, Italy). Historically used by shepherds and hunters, little frequented due to its isolated position. A 'lived-in' atmosphere that makes it particularly endearing, with bunk beds on wooden platforms for overnight stays. Classified as a type D baita, managed by the Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, freely accessible without special permission. Above Ziano di Fiemme in the Val Sadole area.
