The place
Former dairy farm (ex-malga) at 1581 m converted into a bivouac, located in the Pale di San Lucano group, at the heart of the Dolomites, in the municipality of Taibon Agordino (Belluno, Veneto). Renovated by members of the CAI section of Ponte di Piave / Salgareda. Building surrounded by meadows and forests, with a fresh water fountain, an outdoor table and a campfire spot. Inside: a kitchen area, stove, firewood, pots and utensils; upstairs, sixteen sleeping places with mattresses. Access from Col di Prà in Val di San Lucano via the closed forest road to the Cascata dell'Inferno (1h), then trail CAI 764.
