The place
Italian refuge at 1956 m altitude on the shores of Lago di Cernello, in the Alta Val Seriana (Orobie Alps, Bergamo, Lombardy). Original building constructed during the works on the hydroelectric dam, then handed over to the CAI Alzano sub-section. Inaugurated in September 1978. Run as a self-managed refuge by CAI volunteers.
