The place

Former traditional structure at 1547 m in a beautiful grassy basin, between the Forcella Folega (1647 m) and the Forcella del Pongol (1549 m), below the Monte Celo (Agordino, province of Belluno, Veneto, Italy). Preserved structure serving as a bivouac. Host to the traditional festa di San Rocco organized by the Gruppo Ambiente di La Valle Agordina. Shortest route from La Valle via trails CAI 542 then 545, 750 m of elevation gain in about 2 hours one way.
