The place

Former top station of a chairlift operated until the 1980s, fully renovated and converted into a shelter open to all, at 1,446 m in the Jura Vaudois Regional Nature Park (Vaud, Switzerland). Two rooms: main room with a large table and stone benches facing north, and the former lift operator's wooden office. Designed as an occasional shelter from rain and wind, not for overnight stays. Located on the GR 5 or trail 126, roughly halfway between the summit of La Dôle and Saint-Cergue.
