DNT cabin in Nord-Trøndelag almost on the Swedish border (Fjergen area, Meråker municipality), at the heart of an area rich in rare plants and historic pilgrimage sites. Nearby peak Urdalsknuten at 1434 m. Capacity 8 beds plus extra mattresses. An ideal base for berry picking and fishing. Self-service category. Facilities: solar, 12 V, wood stove, dogs welcome. Summer: 17 km of marked trail from Ferslia or 25 km from Teveldal; rowboat rental at the Fjergen dam. Winter: ~15 km on skis along the Fjergen from the Kopperå car park. Open year-round.
