The place

This is the old cabin, left abandoned since being replaced by a sturdier building right next door, which is locked. The old cabin is left open and can be used after a thorough clean-up. Given its rather unappealing state (and the fact that a gable wall has collapsed, I'm classifying it as "unsanitary" usable only in case of absolute need). A fireplace (plenty of firewood nearby). Dirty, packed-earth floor in poor condition. The wall that the sleeping platform was set against has unfortunately collapsed. May be useful in very bad weather. Water at the stream downhill (treatment essential). From the Col Burdincurutcheta, descend the track following the stream on its right bank to the new cabin (locked). Continue 30 m past it.
