The place
Former pastoral hut located at 1585 m altitude in the Signal de Bassia sector, in the Hautes-Pyrénées (Rioumajou and Baronnies valley). Disused pastoral building found along hiking routes northeast of the Signal de Bassia, not to be confused with the ruined Cabane de Bassia Sailla higher up (2157 m). Conservation state variable; mainly serves as a landmark for orientation and a makeshift shelter in bad weather. Referenced on pyrenees-refuges.com.
