Alpine pasture and hut at 1349 m in the Bavarian Allgäu, managed by the SSV Ulm section of the Deutscher Alpenverein. A Selbstversorgerhütte (self-catering hut) located in the Ostertalberg sector near Gunzesried-Säge. A popular stopover for hiking in the Hörnerdörfer ("villages of the horns") and the Hörner range. Booking through the SSV Ulm section. Unmanned: bring your own food, bedding and dishes. In the Allgäu, these alpine pastures are called "Alp" (rather than "Alm" as in eastern Bavaria).
