The place
Guarded Swiss Alpine Club hut at 2,236 m in the Bregaglia region (Grisons), run by the CAS section. Eighty-eight beds. Accessible by cable car from Pranzaira, making it one of the easiest alpine huts to reach. A base for hiking (T3-T5 difficulty), granite climbing, mountaineering and family activities. Winter activities are also offered. The Albigna dam is a distinctive landmark of the area.
