Bookable side (varaustupa) of the same Ahmatupa building operated by Metsähallitus, sharing a courtyard with the autiotupa at the heart of Syöte National Park (Ahmavaara, Pudasjärvi, Karsikkoperäntie 893). Built in 1989, renovated in 2002. Capacity of 8 bunks, sauna access reserved for guests. Shared courtyard with a woodshed, dry toilet, two dog kennels, LED lighting. Access on foot or by ski over 8 km from the Syöte Nature Center. Booking via Eräluvat.fi. Café Ahmatupa, on the autiotupa side, open during the ski season (February-April).
