The place

Bothy in Glen Kinglas (Argyll, western Highlands), within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park (Scotland). The third new bothy opened by the Mountain Bothies Association (MBA) in 2017, after Flittingford (Kielder Forest) and Cae Amos (Snowdonia). Extensive volunteer renovation — 50 people over three weeks converted the building. Sleeps 6, easy access from the famous "Rest and be Thankful" road. The name Abyssinia has an African touch whose exact origin is still a matter of local discussion.
