The place
Empty room with dry-stone walls, no window, closed off by a door, sheet-metal roof and solid floor. A hearth sits in one corner of the room, allowing a fire to be lit provided you've brought your own wood. Located a few metres below the summit of Monte Rotondo (2,622 m), on the trail giving access to it from the Petra Piana refuge. Unlocked dry-stone shelter built during the Helbronner expedition of 1925.
