The place

small shelter - officially unnamed - at a pass, officially unnamed! it's a small closed room with a concrete floor and no furniture whatsoever (as of 19 April 2016) The nearest water will be the river at the bottom of the valley (south side) (2 km on foot), otherwise streams sometimes form during snowmelt or after heavy rain on the GR 53 (500 metres east-north-east of the very handsome ruins of the Château de Froensbourg; road access notably via several marked paths starting from the D925.
