Abri en tôle de Valabres

The place

Semi-circular corrugated metal shelter at 1220 m, about 4 m² floor area (2 × 2 m), in the abandoned village of Valabres, below the wash-house and a three-storey stone building at risk of collapse (former school). At the heart of the Mercantour National Park, Tinée valley (Alpes-Maritimes). Owner unknown, does not close, functions as an open shelter. Access from the RM 2205 road in about 1h30.
