The place

Sleeping capacity: 2. Renovated by the local council in 2014, and maintained by the association Tous à Poêle since 2016. Interior: table, benches/sleeping platform, stove. Very dark once the door is closed. Sleeping: 2 spots (on the bench) + tents possible outside. Crockery: 1 food cupboard, dishes for 4. Outside: fire pit / barbecue spot. Heating: turbo stove (draft not adjustable) + firewood store + wood around. Water: still the Aude 300m away (a small stream at this point) as a water source (must be treated!). From the Angles ski station, take the Pla Del Mir forest track, then continue along the GRP for 2km. When you reach a large meadow (start of the cross-country ski trails in winter), the shelter is on the right, slightly elevated, at the edge of the forest.
