The place

Simple shelter, with a watertight tin roof, but no insulation. The area is good for bivouacking: it's flat, and there's water and plenty of cut firewood. From Lescun, take the road up toward the Caillou du Curé, continue to the Masousa car park at the Pont Lamareich and leave your car there. Those feeling bold can continue by car for 2 km on a track to the Pont Lamary car park, others will do it on foot. Then take, for 1 hour, the small track leading to the Ansabère huts. At a flat spot, at 1363 m, leave the track and turn right. The cabin is 100 m away.
