The place

Shelter at 1705 m, 20 m from the Lac Claret (1701 m), a small mountain lake in a fir forest (Taillefer-Matheysine, Isère). No amenities and no door, but a spacious area with a good corrugated-iron roof — a good shelter in bad weather. Access from the Combe Oursière car park: follow the Poursollet road for 5 minutes, then branch right onto the GR 50 to reach the lake and the shelter in 10 minutes.
