The place

Shelter at 340 m at the Col du Litschhof in the Northern Vosges (Bas-Rhin, Alsace), on a forest road between the D 925 and Wingen allowing passage from the Sauer valley to the Lauter valley, between the Schlossberg and the Weiherleswald. Near the Col du Schaufelshald and the ruins of the Lœwenstein castle.
