The place
Very small shelter at around 490 m in the Bauges massif (Savoie), designed only for taking cover from a storm — not for sleeping. Named after a vine climbing one of the walls, possibly a trace of the area's historic winegrowing, as suggested by the name of the trail passing in front. Small clearing amid the trees. To be considered only for very occasional emergency use.
