The place
Shelter at 660 m in the Vosges Centrales (Bas-Rhin). Several tables and benches, fireplace, no door — open shelter. Very busy at weekends, especially Saturday evenings. Rendered unusable following significant damage in March 2019: the town hall sealed the entrance with a barred iron gate. Following repeated damage, the access road was also closed to vehicle traffic.
