Abri de Sickertbach

The place

Shelter at 620 m in the Hautes-Vosges (Haut-Rhin, near Masevaux), one of the 10 log-cabin style chalets in the Doller valley. Easily accessible (35 min from Sickert) with a water source 200 m away. A wood saw was left there on 20 March 2019. Water is also available by crossing the pass above the hut (about 100 m) and descending the other side, where the Sickertbach stream flows year-round (round trip about 15 min maximum; filtering recommended for any consumption).
