The place

Shelter not fully enclosed (2 "windows" in addition to the door). 3 benches, a table. No sleeping arrangements (the benches are narrow). Space for a campfire in front of the shelter (no apparent ban on lighting a fire). From the Welschbruch forestry lodge, follow the yellow circle then blue cross waymarking (about 2 km walk). The shelter is at a junction of several trails, among others towards Hohwald or the Hungerplatz forestry lodge.
