The place

Shelter at 1400 m in the Embrunais area (Hautes-Alpes / Parpaillon-Ubaye), accessible from Savines-le-Lac by footpath or forest road. Equipment: two large barbecue grills and two tables with benches (one inside, one outside). Shaded spot, plenty of firewood around. Preferable to the neighbouring Pierre Arnoux cabin (≈ 1 km away) if you want to light a fire in rainy weather — at the neighbouring cabin, the barbecues are not covered.
