The place

Spartan shelter at 1440 m in the Bornes-Aravis area (Haute-Savoie). Earth floor, no particular comfort, just a door that closes and two empty rooms once used for cheese ripening. Semi-buried among 2 other alpine chalets. Serves only as an emergency shelter.
