The place

Former metal shelter listed at 2190 m in the Cerdagne (Pyrénées-Orientales), near the large Estagny Llat lake in the Bouillouses/Pic Carlit area. According to recent reports: the metal structure has been destroyed, with sheet-metal panels lying on the ground — it no longer functions as a shelter. Hard to reach (numerous lakes in the area), no marked trail on the final stretch. Water from lakes and streams must be treated (grazing area).
