Abri de l'Aulp du Seuil

The place

Hut at 1677 m in the Réserve naturelle des Hauts de Chartreuse (Isère), on the GR 9, accessible from the col de Bellefont or the Pas de l'Aulp du Seuil. Renovated but currently closed inside. A small staircase and a tiny terrace allow for an improvised makeshift shelter for one person with a survival blanket or poncho in bad weather. Nature Reserve regulations: dogs (even on a leash), fires, camping, foraging and littering all prohibited.
