Abri de Gourdouse (Mt Lozère)

The place

Shelter at 1238 m on Mont Lozère, at the heart of the Cévennes National Park (Biosphere Reserve). Access via Vialas by the GR de pays or GR 68, from Génolhac via the Bouzèdes path, or from the Mas de la Barque. Very poor condition: no windows, shutters, door, table or ladder. No insulation despite a fireplace being present. Items regularly stolen or burned by visitors arriving by car with generators.
