The place

A tiny new hut built by François in place of the collapsed remains of an old hut destroyed long ago. Architecture unusual for the area: a sheet-metal roof on a wooden structure raised into a fir-tree point. Inside, you can stand up in a very tight space: two small handmade stools, a few built-in storage pieces, and a flat floor of joined planks usable as a sleeping area for a maximum of 2 people. Outside: a wooden table with two benches, a rope bed behind the hut for sleeping under the stars, and a stiff-bristled brush serving as a broom. Located along the Vallon du Pertuis hiking trail, just above the Fontaine du Geai (the junction between the trail to the Col du Pertuis and the one to the Plateau du Parmelan). Do not light fires in the immediate vicinity.
