The place
Unstaffed shelter at 1022 m altitude on the cross-country ski trail network above Bussang (Hautes-Vosges). A recent structure on the ridge, 15-20 min from the Croix de l'Ermite. Especially useful in winter for warming up in cases of extreme cold, hunger, injury or difficulty. Wooden furnishings with solid wood benches made by the loggers of Bussang.
