The place
Former shelter at 5 m altitude on the Jaizkibel (Basque coast, between Hendaye and San Sebastian, Spain). Destroyed: no longer serves as a refuge. Access to the neighbouring Akerregi cabin via the same trail as for the former shelter, then right on reaching the bottom of the trail facing the sea.
The setting
Petite anse côtière (« Azabaratza kala ») et ruisseau (« Azabaratza erreka ») du secteur de Jaizkibel, sans cheminée, poêle, couvertures ni latrines. Huit places de couchage étaient prévues avant destruction.
