#### Hiking Trail through the Valley The route offers a picturesque descent from Mund into the valley towards Eggerberg, where hikers begin a moderate climb. The path then reveals the Gorperi bisse, a historic irrigation channel that winds through the landscape. #### Following the Water Route The trail leads adventurers to the very source of the Gorperi bisse, located in the Baltschiedertal valley. From there, it continues its discovery along the Niwärch bisse, leading directly to the charming village of Niwärch. #### In the Shadow of the Railway At Ausserberg, the trail becomes a natural balcony running alongside the tracks of the famous Lötschberg railway. This route offers stunning views all the way to Gampel/Steg, the end of this stage. #### A More Accessible Variant For a route alternating between light and darkness, walkers can choose the Niwärch bisse tunnel. Essential equipment for this variant: a torch to cross the tunnel safely.
