#### Ascent towards Brüsti and Crossing the Surenen Pass Begin your journey in Altdorf, crossing the Reussebene plateau towards Attinghausen. The climb can be done on foot or, more comfortably, by cable car up to Brüsti. You will then follow the ridge trail that leads directly to the Surenen pass. #### Descent into the Valley and Discovery of Blackenalp After crossing the pass, you will begin a gentle descent through the picturesque Blackenalp alpine pasture, enjoying a breathtaking view of the surrounding valley. #### Route along the River to Engelberg Continue your walk, staying on the right bank of the Engelberger Aa river. This final part of the route will take you to Engelberg, a key stage of your adventure, where you can admire the famous Benedictine monastery that marks the region's cultural wealth.
