#### Mürren's Sunny Terrace: Facing the Giants of the Alps Mürren, a true sun-facing balcony, opens majestically onto the alpine trio of Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau. The path crosses pastures and viewpoints such as Bryndli, before passing sturdy refuges such as the Rotstockhütte to reach Sefinenfurgge, an impressive pass that heralds the entrance to the Kiental valley. #### Waterfalls and Panoramas of Lauterbrunnen Between towering peaks and thundering waterfalls, Lauterbrunnen proves to be a spectacle of nature. The Staubbachfall waterfall, with a 300-metre free fall, is the highest in Switzerland. The valley is also one of the country's largest nature reserves. Take the steep trail from the station that winds into the forest and climbs to 200 metres altitude, then follow the beautiful path up towards the Louwibach stream and along the Staubbach, before crossing other streams and reaching Mürren. #### Mürren: Historic Hamlet and Preserved Nature Mürren, a former Walser settlement, sits at the foot of the Schilthorn, famous for having served as a setting for the James Bond film 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. Free of motorised traffic, it is the highest year-round inhabited village in the Canton of Bern, standing at 1,650 metres. After crossing the meadows and taking the zigzag trail up to Bryndli, continue towards Sefinenfurgge via the Rotstock refuge. The trail intensifies between Hundshoren, Hundsee and Horen, offering a striking spectacle at the top: a breathtaking view of the Schilthorn, the Kiental valley and the Blüemlisalp mountain. #### Descent to Griesalp: End of the Epic Adventure After about 500 metres of elevation loss, the steep descent gives way to a brilliant green meadow. Follow the stream and skirt the waterfall to reach upper Dürreberg in about an hour. Continue on the gravel road passing lower Dürreberg and arrive at Griesalp an hour later, marking the end of the demanding trail from Lauterbrunnen to the Kiental valley and its fantastic panoramas.
