Torres del Paine O Circuit

The place

The O Circuit extends the W Trek by looping around the remote back side of the Paine Massif — Serón, Dickson, and Los Perros — before crossing the exposed John Gardner Pass and rejoining the W's southern leg at Glaciar Grey. Park regulations mandate a counter-clockwise direction, starting and finishing near Las Torres Central. Camps are split between two concessionaires, with the back-side sector notably wilder and less trafficked than the W, and the pass crossing forming the trek's high point and technical crux.
