A bit of history
Waymarked in the 1980s by the FFRP, the GR531 is one of the connecting trails of the Vosges network, linking major cross-country routes or providing a way to travel between historic spa towns.
Getting there
Vittel: accessible by bus from Épinal (45 min) or by car from Nancy (1h). Luxeuil-les-Bains: bus from Vesoul.

Waterproof hiking boots. Layered clothing.
