Tierberglihütte: a charming, friendly alpine retreat

Situated atop a rocky promontory on the edge of the magnificent glacial world of the Sustenhorn and Gwächtenhorn, the Tierberglihütte offers a charming escape for all mountaineering enthusiasts. This attractive SAC hut is distinguished by its authenticity, warm welcome and cosy wood-burning stove. The Tierberglihütte has been discreetly extended downhill to provide additional space and courses, making it equally suitable for nature lovers, epicureans and training sessions. One of the routes to the shelter is via a via ferrata, which promises exceptional panoramic views in summer. In winter, the route is via the Steingletscher.
