Berglihütte, originally conceived as a key base for ascents of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, is considered one of the first huts of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC). Its simple layout and adjacent toilet offer a first-hand insight into the early days of alpine tourism in the Alps. This is precisely what makes this spectacularly located alpine dwelling so charming, many consider it a priceless cultural gem. Today, the glacier is accessed from the Jungfraujoch via the Ewigschneefäld.
